Sometimes I play video games, like Prince of Persia, basketball, football, pretty much whatever everyone else wants to play, and my favorite Sims. I'm not too picky I'll play just about anything on any system. I really don't have much of an explanation as to why Sims is my favorite, I just enjoy playing it.
After doing the mini game project I see that it must take a whole lot of time, and patience to make the game. I always thought that video games would take quite some time to complete, but I didn't think it would really take as long as it does, because you have to make the characters and the background, and anything else you decide is a good characteristic for your game.

I have learned very many things in globaloria. I wish to continue to learn more, but so far I have learned that you can become an intern your second year, you can blog about many different things, you can make a wiki page, and you use flash to make games. In my opinion are all very interesting facts.

They are a living breathing thing respect them!!!!

Summer and I plan to make a game on animal hoarding and animal cruelty. We are still still working towards figuring out exactly how to place things in a game, though. We are a working progress but we'll completely be there soon.
I think it will be a good topic because people don't take things like this serious enough, but we do so in hope to spread that feeling we will work hard towards a game.

I played Bullseye today. It wasn't a great game, but it was okay. It teaches you how to aim with a mouse, and how to be more accurate.
In the game, you aim at a bullseye and try to shoot with accuracy. If you miss the whole target you hit things like a barn and a submarine. You use your mouse and then pull the bow back and let go to shoot the arrow.

Internet Safety is very important because as internet gets more popular people are easier to be found. If you are whats the chances your enemy may want to phish your site? Things like phishing can be found and taught on internet. What happens if you run into a pedophile playing the role of a young teenager? If you have your information online he could easily find you, rape you, and then easily kill you and leave you lying.
People should take internet safety more seriously than they do. Having privacy is not a bad thing, and nobody is invincible. You never know you may be next on the pedophile's list. Even if you're not a teenager, internet safety should be taken more seriously, because you may be talking to, and readying yourself to meet the next in line murderer, and you may be the victim.

So I started this class thinking it would be all about making video games, because thats what everybody made it sound like. Now I sit here three weeks later, working on a blog and I haven't started the first thing on learning how to make a video game.I guess thats what I get for listening to hear say....lol.
As I said its the third week, and I've already learned how to make a wiki page, a blog, and how to decorate both; unfortunately I'm still waiting to start those video games lol. We started the class out with a survey, which i did 4 times..!!!!!!!! The first time I did my survey and the computer shut off at about 80 to 90 percent finished, then to make matters worse I tried to re-do one and ran out of time and the bell rang so I had to make it to practice in time, and finally I finished it; In my relief, I found that I should have procrastinated, because it was the wrong survey..!!!!!
Over all the class is pretty great and I know at some point we'll get around to making video games...lol but not quite yet, because we still have a little ways to go. I'm glad I chose this class anyways, and I wouldn't change my decision.
